Postdoctoral fellow to study Wnt signaling and cell polarity

par  Svetlana

A postdoctoral position is available in the Sokol laboratory in the Department of Cell, Developmental and Regenerative Biology, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. Our group uses live imaging, genome editing and proximity biotinylation approaches to assess cell signaling and lineage decisions during gastrulation and neural development. We also interested in the roles of the centrosome and cilia in epithelial cell polarity and asymmetric cell divisions in Xenopus, zebrafish and mammalian progenitor cells. See the description of our interests at ( or

Preference will be given to motivated applicants with strong background in cell biology, bioinformatics and biochemistry, who published a first-author paper as a result of their graduate work. Interested candidates may send their CV, list of publications and three references to Dr. Sergei Sokol (sergei.sokol chez
